This is an interesting contradiction. Elle Macpherson is a supermodel/actress that hates being looked at! It's quite funny, since she has chosen two professions which require you to be the 'eye of attention'. Apparently Elle Macpherson doesn’t believe it is healthy to objectify women because of their physical attributes, "As strange as it might sound, I feel uncomfortable when people look at me. I really don’t like it. That’s one of the reasons that I’ve almost never enjoyed catwalks." she quipped, also adding "My view is that putting a woman on a pedestal for everyone’s enjoyment is not a positive thing at all." Has she only now realized this, or is it that she has grown tired of all of the attention that stardom brings. Hmmmm

It seems that Elle Macpherson isn't only talented infront of the camera but she has skill on the waves too. The 44 year old supermodel was snapped surfing the waves while on vacation in Australia, and it seems this is one of her secrets to maintaining that lean, trim and sexy figure.

The Australian beauty reportedly met Dan at a New York film screening this summer and eversince they have been an item according to the Sydney Daily Telegraph newspaper. Elle Macpherson has been denying any romantic involvement with Brian Burgess, a convicted drug smuggler , claiming they are just good friends. The 44-year-old has been photographed out with Brian Burgess, who was found guilty of drug trafficking in Australia in 1996. He received a four year sentence for attempting to smuggle two kilos of cocaine from the United States in hollowed-out boots. The pair were photographed driving around London in the Australian supermodel’s Aston Martin convertible. She issued a statement in which she "emphatically denies that there is any romantic association" between them, but praises Burgess for turning his life around since leaving prison. The News of the World reported Macpherson collected Burgess from a Chelsea car showroom where he had been looking at Jaguar cars. "The salesman was an Aussie and they were getting on great," the newspaper quoted an onlooker as saying.
"Brian was saying how he had been seeing a new girlfriend for a few weeks. He added "I’ve got to go, she’s picking me up." he added "Then Elle turns up in her car. I couldn’t believe it."
